Consumer FAQ

Everything you might want to know about using Streetify to explore your high street.

Is it really free?

Yes — it's free to consumers and there aren't any paid 'upgrades'. We fund the site by charging stores a small monthly fee if they want to put offers in their windows, and councils if they want to get involved.

Why do you suggest I register and provide my details?

Streetify works perfectly well if you don't register, so if you'd rather not share your data, then don't.

It does work a bit better if you do register, though — you'll be able to save favourite streets (including your local one), and we can give you special offers that aren't available to non-members.

What do you do with my data?

If you don't register then we don't have any data on you to do anything with.

If you register, we'll protect it carefully and use it to remember your favourite streets. We'll also record which streets and stores you visit so we get a picture of what you like — that lets us provide a better, personalised service.

We won't give your contact details to anyone else. If a store wants to contact you with an offer, they have to do it through Streetify — and if you want to stop at any stage, that's easy.

What if I don't want to continue with Streetify?

If you haven't registered, just stop using it. Simple.

If you have registered, go to your profile and you'll find the option to cancel. Since we don't share your data with anyone else, once you cancel no store will be able to contact you through us.
